Vares – Sheriffi

Jussi Vares discovers two female bodies on the outskirts of Turku, both shot in the head, along with a man whose body is covered in rune-like cuts, hinting that the murders might be part of a sinister ritual. A year later, Vares is tasked with investigating these killings. His investigation leads him into Turku’s underworld, ruled by an unseen and unspoken godfather known as the Sheriff. Vares finds himself dangerously close to the “jury,” a clandestine group where human life is of little value. As he delves deeper into the case, Vares edges perilously near to uncovering the truth.
