When immigrants Attila and Jana move to a remote Australian village under a government initiative to populate secluded regions, they feel fortunate. Despite having to toil at a wind farm in a desolate area, they have each other and soon start a family. However, their challenges with the narrow-minded locals, the isolation, the grueling work, and immigration authorities become the least of their concerns when strange and troubling events start affecting the town’s animals and residents. As the situation worsens and fear takes hold, Attila and Jana begin to question whether the Turbines are merely bystanders or responsible for something unimaginable.
