Truth Be Told

When prominent marriage counselor Annie Morgan, played by Candace Cameron Bure, is given the chance to host a relationship talk show, she eagerly accepts. However, worried that her single status might jeopardize this opportunity, she devises a plan with Mark Crane, an old college friend and recent widower portrayed by David James Elliott, to pretend they are a married couple with children. Their fabricated story begins to fall apart during a weekend visit to the New Mexico ranch of Annie’s quirky soon-to-be boss, played by Ronny Cox. The weekend is filled with humorous misunderstandings as Annie struggles to maintain the charade, becoming emotionally entangled and torn by her own conscience. Will she reveal the truth about her relationship status and her feelings for Mark, and will honesty ultimately liberate them?
