Tribulation

Tom Canboro, a police detective, has a Christian sister named Eileen, a brother named Calvin, a wife named Susan, and an unusual brother-in-law named Jason. One evening, Jason appears to lose his sanity and attempts to murder Eileen, labeling her a “hater.” Tom soon suspects a conspiracy that might involve devil worship. As he rushes in his car to seek assistance, he unexpectedly loses control and crashes. Upon awakening in an unfamiliar hospital, he discovers that several years have passed, and people worldwide now bear the mark of 666 on their right hands, with those who refuse being systematically eliminated. Franco Macalusso, whom Jason admired for his vision of global harmony, now rules the world and seeks to unite it as it was during the time of the Tower of Babel. Meanwhile, Christians, referred to as “Haters,” are in hiding, broadcasting TBN tapes to reveal that the supposed Messiah is actually the Antichrist.
