The Escape from Auschwitz

In 1939, Kazimierz Piechowski is apprehended at the Hungarian border while trying to flee from the SS and is subsequently sent to Auschwitz. There, he is assigned the grim task of moving bodies from the gas chambers to the crematorium. Upon learning that a friend in the camp is marked for execution, he becomes determined to do whatever it takes to save him. This sets the stage for one of World War II’s most extraordinary true tales, as four men put their lives on the line in a daring bid to ‘Escape from Auschwitz’.
