The Bike Thief

For the Rider, his moped is indispensable. As a pizza delivery driver, it is his means of earning a living. As an immigrant father living on the edge of poverty, it serves as the cornerstone for his family. It transports his wife to her job and his daughter to school. So when the moped is stolen one night, his life falls apart. He must retrieve or replace it by any means necessary before his next shift begins. Failure to do so means not just losing his job, but losing everything. In this unfamiliar and bewildering city, he seeks help from the few people he knows. However, as time runs out and his options dwindle, his moral integrity begins to waver, and he becomes increasingly willing to compromise his principles to protect himself and his family.
