Tales of the Grim Sleeper

In 2010, Lonnie Franklin Jr. was apprehended in South Central Los Angeles, suspected of being the serial killer responsible for the deaths of numerous young black women. This arrest was celebrated by the police as the result of two decades of investigative work. Four years after this event, documentary filmmaker Nick Broomfield ventured into the neighborhood of the accused to capture a different perspective with his camera.
