Sweet Dreams

In 1969 Turin, young Massimo’s perfect childhood is abruptly disrupted by the enigmatic passing of his mother. Despite the priest’s assurances that she is in Heaven, Massimo struggles to come to terms with this harsh reality. Fast forward to the 1990s, Massimo has grown into a successful journalist. However, after covering the conflict in Sarajevo, he starts experiencing panic attacks. While getting ready to sell his family home, Massimo is compelled to face the haunting memories of his past. A caring doctor named Elisa might be the key to helping him address and heal from his childhood traumas.
