From afar, the realm of mountain biking appears as a fragmented web of communities that seem alike yet remain separate. Freeride, Downhill, Big Mountain, All Mountain, Dirt Jump, and Slopestyle each represent unique facets of the sport. It’s a pursuit marked as much by its diversity as by the shared elements that unite its enthusiasts. Although our narrative doesn’t follow a linear path, we all converge at the same destination. With tires on the earth, feet on pedals, and hands gripping handlebars, these communities are united by the dirt trails they traverse.
