In 1974, during a time of power outages, strikes, and violent clashes at football matches, Joe McCain finds himself stuck in a monotonous life. Then he meets Jane, a stunning blonde hairdresser who introduces him to a vibrant new world filled with music, dance, and all-night parties at The Wigan Casino, the epicenter of Northern Soul.
