Sometime Other Than Now

After his motorcycle seemingly crashes into the ocean, Sam finds himself stuck in a quaint New England town. He takes shelter at a dilapidated motel run by Kate, who, like him, is a weary and lost individual. The enigma surrounding Sam’s arrival in the town begins to clear up when it’s revealed that his estranged daughter, Audrey, resides there—a daughter he hasn’t seen in 25 years. As Sam attempts to reconcile the image of the little girl he abandoned with the woman she has become, he realizes that he has never been adept at forming emotional connections—unless he finds love with another equally solitary soul.
