A New York writer relocates to Los Angeles with his partner to transform a children’s book into a screenplay for a Hollywood producer. As the project progresses, he engages in numerous discussions with the book’s author, the director, and various actors, each bringing their unique vision for the script. Tensions rise between the writer and his partner as the process becomes increasingly exhausting and challenging. Concerned that medication has dulled his creativity, the writer must decide between pursuing a fulfilling personal life or achieving success as a Hollywood screenwriter.
