When fourteen-year-old Jarvis Raines receives a chemistry set from his Aunt Marlene as a Christmas present, he initially thinks it’s just another dull gift. However, he couldn’t be more mistaken! The set causes a chemical reaction that obliterates his home, turning his holiday into anything but merry.
