Fairy Gone
In a bygone era, fairies were harnessed as instruments of warfare.
The narrative unfolds in a realm where fairies inhabit animals, endowing them with enigmatic powers. By extracting the organs of these possessed creatures and implanting them into humans, fairies can be conjured as alternate personas and wielded as weapons. Those who utilized fairies in combat were known as “Fairy Soldiers.” After the war concluded and their duties were fulfilled, these soldiers found themselves without a purpose. Some opted to work for the government, others joined the mafia, and a few even turned to terrorism, each choosing their own path forward.
Nine years have elapsed since the conflict ended. The central character, Mariya, is a fresh recruit in “Dorothea,” an organization dedicated to investigating and curbing crimes related to fairies. In the midst of a volatile political climate, criminals bearing scars from the war and past disputes surface, resorting to terrorism as a form of vengeance. This tale follows the Fairy Soldiers as they strive for their own sense of justice in a tumultuous postwar landscape.
