Save My Seoul
Eddie and Jason, two brothers of Korean-American descent, find themselves in over their heads when they travel to Korea to create a short film about prostitution and sex trafficking. Their journey takes a turn when they encounter Crystal and Esther, two sex workers who expose the true extent of the issue, prompting the brothers to embark on a perilous quest to uncover the truth. Utilizing hidden cameras and gaining access to pimps, clients, and sex workers, the filmmakers delve into the intricate world of Seoul’s sex trade. They discover that the problem is deeply rooted in cultural and governmental systems that overlook and implicitly support this grave human rights violation, rather than merely being about exploited women and predatory men.
