Running for Her Life

Alison Wynn, an amateur triathlete, persuades Dr. Laura Stevens, a controversial expert in peak performance, to become her coach. Together, they embark on an intense regimen that blends state-of-the-art physical training with experimental hypnotherapy, aiming to make Alison more competitive. As Alison is pushed to her limits and forced to confront the painful, buried memories of her mother’s suicide, Dr. Stevens’ demanding program leads to significant improvements and helps Alison shatter her own barriers. However, this progress comes at a steep price. Alison’s work and family life, including her relationship with her husband and daughter, begin to suffer, yet no sacrifice seems too great to meet Laura’s growing demands. Laura is determined to have Alison entirely to herself, resorting to any means necessary. As Alison falls deeper into Laura’s dark psychological trap, it is up to her daughter to help her see through the deception before they lose her forever.
