Tommy DiNello, a freelance videographer, returns to North Branford, Connecticut, after spending two years in New York City. His cousins, Marie and Dom Jr., are struggling to come to terms with their father’s recent marriage to a young foreign woman named Varya, which happened just two years following their mother’s passing. With his own parents having relocated to Florida during his absence, Tommy has no option but to live with his Uncle Dominic and cousin Marie, all while grappling with the memories that drove him away from the town initially. He reconnects with his close friend Angela, which is a mixed blessing since she is the only one who fully understands and has witnessed his past.
