Thirteen-year-old Sonja, a compassionate young girl, arrives in a small village accompanied by a group of bandits. The village is under a curse that dates back to when the King’s only daughter, Goldhair, vanished while seeking the Christmas Star. The Queen died from heartbreak, leaving the King devastated and alone. In his sorrow, the King cursed the Christmas Star, plunging the land into darkness and sorrow. An old sage has revealed that Goldhair is still alive and will return if the King can rediscover the Christmas Star. Since then, the King has been searching for the Christmas Star every year during the holiday season, but his efforts have been fruitless.
