In this film, a young man named Ben Freidman, portrayed by Scott Wilson, is brought up by affluent Jewish adoptive parents in Beverly Hills. Feeling prepared to connect with his birth parents, Ben embarks on a journey to find them. However, he is met with disillusionment when he discovers that his biological mother has passed away. Meanwhile, his biological father is living in a psychiatric facility.
