Three inept indie filmmakers embark on a journey to the Sundance Film Festival, enduring a nightmarish ordeal in their quest to find the elusive producer rumored to purchase their independent movie, all within a single day. The group includes a producer who embezzled funds from his mother’s retirement savings to finance the project, a director who fancies herself the next François Truffaut, and an actor/editor who lets everyone walk all over him. This ragtag team of misfit filmmakers faces immense challenges as they attempt to navigate the frenzied environment of the Sundance Film Festival. Their ignorance, folly, and above all, egos, drive them towards self-destruction as they grapple with their aspirations of cinematic success.
