Trapped with no escape, Ashley’s life takes a dark turn when two teenage girls maliciously impersonate her online, flipping the script on cyberbullying and tarnishing her reputation. As a result, Ashley and her mother, Julie, who works as a high school teacher, find themselves shunned by their community, compelling them to escape a growing danger. In a new town and school, Ashley begins to emerge from isolation, spurred by budding romantic interests and the insightful teachings of Kevin, an unconventional history teacher. Yet, when her past resurfaces, Ashley relies on the wisdom gained from Kevin’s lessons, empowering her to face her tormentors with resilience. With her mother’s unwavering support and the help of new friends, Ashley bravely confronts her troubled history, using the same social media and technology that once harmed her to reveal the truth and dismantle the lies.
