Ryoichi has turned his back on contemporary society, choosing to live a solitary and self-reliant existence on a snowy mountain. From this remote location, he dispatches explosive packages to the heads of corporations and television networks. During one of his days in the forest, he comes across an enigmatic being. That evening, he is visited by the ghost of his older brother, who had taken his own life. This spectral presence leads Ryoichi through a doorway, revealing the hidden truths about his family.
