Mom, Dad and Her

Sydney, a teenager facing difficulties, seems to be on a path of self-destruction. After being caught stealing and experiencing alcohol poisoning, her single mother, in a state of desperation, decides to send her to the countryside to live with her father, Ben, and his pregnant wife, Emma. Sydney longs for her boyfriend and city life, and she struggles to connect with her father and stepmother. Gradually, she begins to adjust, forming a friendship with Jess, a local girl who lost her mother to cancer. Although Sydney makes some errors along the way, the family begins to mend after the passing of her grandfather.
