A group of eight Mexican filmmakers collaborates to vividly bring to life some of the most chilling Mexican traditions and legends. “MEXICO BARBARO” showcases eerie tales that are deeply embedded in the nation’s cultural heritage, with some stories being ancient and others more contemporary, yet all equally terrifying. This anthology features narratives about boogeymen, trolls, ghosts, monsters, Aztec sacrifices, and the Day of the Dead, set against both urban and rural backdrops. The collection is both unique and recognizable, as well as significant and spine-chilling.
