Kuchisake-onna

According to local lore, three decades ago, a suburban community was haunted by the ghost of a woman with a severely disfigured face. Dressed in a long coat and wielding large scissors, she would wander the streets, confronting young people. She would reveal her face and ask if they found her attractive. Regardless of their answer, it often resulted in their brutal demise.
