Kazuya Takajo, once a rising star in soccer, was chosen for the national A team at 23 and purchased a home to share with his fiancée, Miki Nakagawa. However, his life takes a tragic turn when a car accident leaves him paralyzed, plunging him into profound despair. Despite the unwavering support of his wife, Kazuya struggles with the disapproval of those against his marriage to Miki and the pitying glances from others. He also grapples with the void left by soccer in his life. It is during this challenging time that he discovers wheelchair basketball at a local gym.
