Je m’appelle Hmmm…

Céline, an 11-year-old girl, encounters Peter, a 40-year-old man. They embark on a “radiant adventure” in his striking red truck. Céline is fleeing from her despairing and abusive father, while Peter is distancing himself from his homeland of England and the sorrowful memories of his deceased wife and daughter. Over a brief period, with minimal conversation, Céline discovers her first genuine experiences of childhood joy, freedom, and trust. Meanwhile, Peter approaches the final days of his life, offering himself as a kind and wise guardian to this troubled young girl.
