Hana to Arisu satsujin jiken

This film serves as a prequel to the 2004 coming-of-age live-action movie, Hana & Alice. Following her parents’ separation, 14-year-old Tetsuko, soon to be nicknamed Alice, relocates with her mother to a new town she refers to as “The Boonies.” There, she must start anew as a transfer student at a different middle school. Almost immediately, she becomes the target of bullying because she is assigned the seat of “Judas,” a student rumored to have been murdered over a year ago. It is said that if anyone knows what happened to him, it would be Hana, the reclusive girl living next door, who has been unable to attend school since “Judas” vanished.
