The film follows the lives of four young monks who are left to their own devices in an isolated monastery in Myanmar. Filmed entirely in the recently accessible Myanmar and featuring non-professional actors, the movie combines elements of spirituality, cinema, and classic Burmese narrative techniques to offer a glimpse into a world rarely seen.
