Henry Adams, a man struggling with social awkwardness, decides to join a self-help group that turns out to be far from ordinary. As he delves further into the program, he finds himself surrounded by peril. At the same time, Detective Williams is on the trail of a string of bizarre murders that appear to be linked. As he pieces together the evidence, he uncovers more than he ever expected.
