Randi, approaching her forties and experiencing her first divorce, finds herself in a state of disarray. At a party, she encounters Vince, an old high school friend of her younger brother. Vince is grappling with his own issues, trying to overcome a troubled past and drug addiction, while Randi navigates her newfound solitude. The two form a complicated bond, despite warnings from Randi’s friends, family, and colleagues who insist that Vince is trouble. Vince is haunted by his past, with his ex, Summer, determined to keep him from moving forward.
