A 91-year-old man, who is deeply religious and lives in seclusion, and a young Cuban refugee working as a home-aid caregiver, grapple with their past regrets, the intense sorrow of losing what cannot be replaced, and the profound and challenging truths of human existence: that life concludes, yet continues.
