Jane McCoy, fresh out of college, disappoints her parents by abandoning her law school ambitions to chase her dream of becoming a full-time actress. As she grapples with financial difficulties, she encounters a self-assured and convincing friend who introduces her to the world of go-go dancing as a way to earn extra cash.
