Joanna Moret, a celebrated lifestyle coach and romance authority, has crafted a guaranteed method to combat holiday solitude, which she outlines in her popular book, The Love Audit. Following an appearance on a morning talk show, she receives the chance of a lifetime: to organize the prestigious MacAllen Holiday Gala. Success in this endeavor could lead to her own television program. However, unbeknownst to her admirers and the MacAllens, Joanna has recently become single and struggles to implement her own advice in her personal romantic life. To avoid being revealed as a fraud, she enlists the help of Ted, the morning show’s producer, to pose as her partner.
