Samantha, an independent photographer, is heading back to Cape Cod for the first time since her mother’s passing several years ago. She’s there to attend her father’s wedding on Christmas Eve, but she’s apprehensive about confronting old memories. With a crucial deadline looming for a major Christmas feature that could boost her career, she asks her childhood friend, Mike, to help her explore the area. During her stay in Cape Cod, she comes to understand that the essence of Christmas is being with family.
