Chasing Ghosts

After the death of his older brother, Lucas Simons becomes fixated on the concept of mortality. As a reserved child, he dedicates much of his spare time to recording funerals, hoping to unravel the mystery of what occurs after death. One day, Lucas inadvertently films an enigmatic figure and shares the footage online, catapulting him to unexpected YouTube fame and drawing intense media attention. This sudden exposure jolts Lucas and his grief-stricken parents out of their inertia, complicating their family dynamics. In his search for understanding, Lucas forms an unexpected bond with Chris Brighton (played by Tim Meadows), a local writer who experienced a near-death event, having been clinically dead for nine minutes. Chris becomes a mentor to Lucas, guiding him through the challenges of newfound fame and teaching him to embrace life beyond the shadow of death.
