The tight-knit village of Brackenmore conceals a hidden truth. Following the unexpected passing of an uncle she never knew, Kate (Sophie Hopkins) is compelled to return to her family’s ancestral home, a small rural village in Southern Ireland. Shortly after her arrival, she encounters Tom (D.J. McGrath), an enigmatic local who aids her in reconnecting with her long-forgotten heritage and escaping the stresses of her London life. As Kate spends more time in Brackenmore, she starts to suspect that the peculiarities of its insular residents might be more sinister than they initially appeared, and that the isolated family estate holds a dark, ancient secret. From the opening scenes of a tragic car accident to the startling conclusion, Brackenmore subtly gets under your skin, shifting from classic horror to occult mysteries.
