In the Kosovo of the 1990s, young Nori is forced to mature quickly following the untimely death of his mother and subsequent abandonment by his father, Gezim. After a perilous and adventurous journey, Nori eventually makes it to Germany, where he reunites with Gezim. However, he struggles to comprehend how his father could have deserted him. Their future in Germany appears uncertain as Gezim’s asylum request is denied.
