At Stake: Vampire Solutions

Evan Shandling, a film student from Memphis, chooses to focus his senior project on the impact of the economy on local businesses. With this theme in mind, he travels to North Mississippi to capture the challenges faced by one of the most affected and perilous professions: vampire removal. Evan joins forces with a small company called At Stake: Vampire Solutions (AS:VS), where he films, interviews, and accompanies the team on their assignments. Through his lens, he portrays their efforts to sustain their business and survive each day.
