WINTER is a gripping, seductive, and at times darkly humorous tale about two individuals yearning for closeness, yet trapped in lives marked by isolation and emotional turmoil, ultimately leading to the downfall of their profound love. The story kicks off with Michael, a writer in his mid-forties, who is despondent over his declining career, which once thrived but is now faltering. Seeking to rekindle his passion for writing and life, he leaves New York for Paris. Michael also harbors an interest in S and M. Shortly after arriving, he encounters Sophie, an alluring, intelligent, and empathetic nurse who assists terminally ill patients in their final transition. Despite their immediate, albeit contentious, connection, Sophie harbors a secret: she also works as a dominatrix.
