A Hitman’s Solitude Before the Shot

The overly ambitious Koralnik holds what many would consider a dream position: he’s an assassin for a clandestine EU initiative. Yet, despite completing his training eight years ago, he hasn’t executed a single assignment. Stuck in a rut of boredom and frustration, he adheres to the programme’s stringent guidelines—living a reclusive life, avoiding social interactions, and always staying undercover. His monotonous routine is disrupted when the introverted Rosa unexpectedly collides with his car and enters his life. Suddenly, Koralnik finds himself sharing a meal with her, offering him a rare escape from his dreary existence. However, the evening takes a turn when he receives a call for his first mission. Accompanied by Rosa, Koralnik embarks on a tumultuous journey through a night where nothing unfolds as planned. The situation becomes even more complicated when he discovers that his target is a fellow operative. This revelation forces Koralnik to reevaluate the rigid principles that have governed his life, as he faces the choice between safeguarding the secret programme or ending his unfulfilled career as an assassin.
