A Bit of Bad Luck

Brooks Caldwell, portrayed by Cary Elwes, is a sophisticated and attractive attorney who appears to have it all: affluence, high social standing, and a thriving career. However, his achievements are largely due to his marriage to Amanda, played by Terri Polo, a stunning socialite and wealthy timber heiress. While many would be satisfied with such a life of luxury and privilege, Brooks jeopardizes it all by engaging in extramarital affairs. His infidelity not only embarrasses Amanda but also drives her to the brink of a mental collapse. Pushed to her limits, Amanda devises a meticulous and fair plan to bring about her husband’s downfall. As Brooks departs for a weekend escapade with his latest lover, played by Agnes Bruckner, his life rapidly spirals into a strange and nightmarish decline.
