The Mothman Legacy
One of the most terrifying American urban legends is the tale of The Mothman, a creature with glowing red eyes, often seen as a forewarning of disaster. This eerie figure was first reported in the 1960s in rural West Virginia, particularly near an old munitions site known locally as TNT. Many consider the Mothman to be a phenomenon of the 1960s, appearing only as a precursor to calamity and vanishing after a series of sightings culminated in the Silver Bridge collapse in 1967. But what if there’s more to the story? What if the roots of this ominous figure extend much further back and are more complex than anyone has imagined? And what if… the sightings never truly ceased?
