Actor Park Joong-hoon steps into the director’s chair for the first time with this story about Taeshik, a talent manager who unexpectedly finds himself in the spotlight as an actor. His rise to fame is swift, soon eclipsing the success of his former client. However, Taeshik is determined to maintain his newfound celebrity status, resorting to unscrupulous methods. His character is reminiscent of Alain Delon’s portrayal of Tom Ripley in “Purple Noon,” where Ripley covets the life of a wealthy man and his girlfriend. Similarly, Taeshik desires everything that his previous boss, Wonjoon, once possessed.
