125 Years Memory

“125 Years Memory” (海難1890 Kainan) is a drama film from 2015, helmed by director Mitsutoshi Tanaka and penned by writer Eriko Komatsu. This film is a collaborative effort between Japan and Turkey, premiering in Japan through Toei on December 5, 2015, and in Turkey via Mars on December 25, 2015. At the 39th Japan Academy Prize, the film garnered ten nominations and took home awards for Best Art Direction and Best Sound Recording.
