Nirvana in Fire

During the turbulent times of 4th-century China, conflict erupts between the feudal dynasties of Northern Wei and Southern Liang. General Lin Xie of Liang brings his 17-year-old son, Lin Shu, to the battlefield, where they successfully repel the aggressive Wei forces. However, a political adversary falsely accuses General Lin Xie, leading to the massacre of 70,000 soldiers from the Chiyan army. Lin Shu narrowly escapes death with the aid of a devoted subordinate. A dozen years later, Lin Shu forms the Jiangzuo Alliance and returns to the capital under the guise of Chief Mei Changsu. As the Northern Wei launch another assault, how far will Mei Changsu go to defend his people?
