Petaru dansu

Four women, each carrying their own unique burdens, set off on a journey together. As they travel, they reflect on their pasts and seek to begin anew. Jinko (played by Aoi Miyazaki) and Motoko (portrayed by Sakura Ando) have been close since their college years. They come across a rumor concerning their old friend and classmate, Miki (Kazue Fukiishi), who reportedly ventured into the sea but emerged unharmed. Concerned, Jinko and Motoko decide to check on Miki’s well-being. Joining them is Haraki (Shiori Kutsuna), whom Jinko met at her library job, and who takes on the role of their driver. Thus begins their brief road trip, spanning one night and two days.
