During a sweltering summer, the children’s world is turned upside down when two young girls are discovered to have been assaulted and killed. Although the children are aware of who the suspect is, they remain silent, convinced that the adults won’t take them seriously. However, when the sister of one of their friends goes missing, they realize they must intervene and handle the situation themselves.
