A massive alien mosquito-like creature is attracted to Earth by the CO2 pollution, seeking blood. Del, a government agent, is driven by a personal vendetta after the creature takes the lives of his loved ones. Meanwhile, Dr. Kempler becomes fascinated by the creature and tries to assist it in purifying the planet.
