Disaster Wars: Earthquake vs. Tsunami

Beneath the depths of the Marianas Trench, a mishap triggers a catastrophic tsunami that obliterates the Hawaiian Islands and advances toward the western coastline. Chaos erupts along the western shores of both North and South America. In a bid to mitigate its effects, scientists detonate an underwater explosion, which unintentionally intensifies the tsunami, directing its fury toward Los Angeles. As scientists scramble for a remedy, the military braces for the worst-case scenario. Los Angeles initiates an emergency evacuation. Amidst the chaos and heartbreak, a daring young graduate student devises a plan: to trigger a massive earthquake that could counteract the surging wave and elevate the continental shelf off the U.S. coast.
